LMR RANKED IN THE FIRST CATEGORY IN BANKING AND FINANCE & EU AND COMPETITION LAW – LMR highly ranked also in Corporate and M&A
THE EUROPEAN LEGAL 500, a leading international publication of recommended law firms, has in its 2006 edition again given high rankings to LMR in most legal practice areas. For the fifth consecutive year, LMR has been ranked in the highest category in Banking and Finance. LMR was ranked in the highest category also in EU and Competition. In addition, LMR was highly ranked in its other principal practice areas, such as Corporate and M&A (2nd category) and Maritime and Transport (2nd category). In total LMR was recommended in 7 practice areas, and always ranked in one of the first three categories of recommended law firms.

LMR banking practice is "highly recommended" by PLC Which Lawyer Yearbook 2006.
In the PLC Which Lawyer Yearbook 2006, LMR has received a "highly recommended" ranking in Finance: banking and debt finance category. According to PLC Which Lawyer, LMR stands out for its expertise in this area. LMR was also recommended in the competition/anti-trust area.

”AN ELITE ANTITRUST PRACTICE” – LMR ranked among the world’s 100 leading competition law practices for the fourth consecutive year
GLOBAL COMPETITION REVIEW, one of the world’s leading competition law publications, has in its January 2006 Special supplement, GCR 100 – The world’s leading competition law practices, ranked LMR among the 100 leading competition law practices in the world. This is already the fourth consecutive year for LMR to be included in this list. Only one other Finnish firm has ever been included in this list.
The GCR 100 is a guide to the world’s leading competition law groups. It is the only publication providing analysis of the world’s top 100 competition practices. The GCR 100 is an independent survey, and the only qualitative survey of the international competition marketplace. It is intended to be a useful resource for in-house counsel when they compile shortlists for work or for law firms in search of foreign contacts.
